Peter is one of New Zealand’s most experienced aerospace regulatory and airworthiness leaders, with a career spanning the RAF, RNZAF, UK MOD, NZDF and wider Defence and space sectors.

A former RNZAF Chief Engineer and NZDF Technical Airworthiness Authority, he led EMARs implementation, major certification programmes including the P8A and C 130J fleets, and the establishment of the Defence Aviation Authority. Peter specialises in EMARs/DARS frameworks, safety assurance, engineering governance, systems integration and capability risk management, with deep expertise in complex aircraft, mission systems and ISR payloads. He has recently joined the SSCL team, where he contributes his regulatory and engineering expertise and delivers SSCL’s Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Training Programme.
