ITIL® 4

As part of SSCL’s commitment to the ongoing professional development of our consultants, we have invested in ITIL® 4 Foundation Certification training for six of our staff.  ITIL® 4 is an IT service management framework that provides advice for developing, delivering, and continuously upgrading IT services to suit the changing demands of organisations and customers. It consists of a set of best practices and processes that assist organisations in aligning their IT services with business goals and delivering value to their customers. 

 

On completion of the course our consultants have a certification relevant to our work in supporting the Defence Information Domain projects, and for referencing the other management frameworks that we utilise in supporting wider Defence and NZDF work.  Specifically, this course content provides upskilling in contemporary IT service management disciplines including:

• ITIL Service Value Systems and Guiding Principles

• ITIL Management Practices

• General Management Practices

• Service Management Practices

• Technical Management Practices

The Foundation Certification training provides the basis for further specific training, ultimately providing the pathway to a Certified ITIL Practitioner qualification.
